Quartzbound Ecopave HT, the natural choice for parks and gardens.
Quartzbond Ecopave HT, is a widely used landscape surfacing option, commonly found as a pathway surface in public parks and amenity walking areas.
The combination of both SBR ( Synthetic Base Rubber ) and any of our aggregates, bound w2ith a High Tensile Polymer Resin, creates a surface which is both durable, hard wearing , and surprisingly cushioned underfoot.
This type of surface can be laid directly onto a pre-compacted, type 1 MOT sub-base layer, and typically at a depth of around 50mm.
The aggregate being the wearing compound, and the rubber acting as the elastomer for flexibility and “feel factor”.
This system is only available in 4 colour options, all of which are on the buff and brown side of the chart, this is due to the HT Resin being the NON UV type, and also because the SBR is black, and dominates the mixture by a 70% volume ratio.
